Kerr takes Lavonia for two in a row on AAPTS

LAVONIA, Ga. (Aug. 15) — Tommy Kerr of Maryville, Tenn., won at Lavonia Speedway for his second straight victory on the Advance Auto Parts Thunder Series. The fifth-starting Kerr picked up $4,000 for outrunning Rick Rogers of Knoxville, Tenn., in the first series event at Lavonia. Stacy Boles of Clinton, Tenn., finished third followed by Jamie Oliver of Peachtree, N.C., and David Smith of Inman, S.C. | Slideshow
