Brindle rallies for Top Tracks win at home track

CHATSWORTH, Ga. (Aug. 15) — Hometown driver Chip Brindle rallied from his ninth starting spot at North Georgia Speedway to earn a $1,500 Top Tracks Challenge Series victory. Brindle took the second and third spots from Todd Morrow and early leader Jeff Smith in the final laps, then inherited the top spot with five laps remaining in the 35-lapper when Rick Hixson dropped out with a flat tire. Smith finished second followed by Morrow, Jeff Fields and John Owenby.
