Essary sweeps Show-Me Racin' Series weekend

Leslie Essary of Crane, Mo., swept the Sept. 15-16 weekend on the Show-Me Racin' Series to become the winningest driver in the history of the 4-year-old series. Essary won Saturday at West Siloam Speedway in Oklahoma and followed that up with a Sunday victory at Monett (Mo.) Speedway. | Slideshow
The victories boosted the defending series champion's career victories total to 18, one more than 2004 series champion Justin Wells. Wells finished second to Essary at West Siloam while Jeremy Kelley, Jarrod Hilton and Chris Powell rounded out the top five.
