Peacock picks up $3,000 UDLMCS victory at East Bay

GIBSONTON, Fla. (Sept. 27) — Josh Peacock of Dover, Fla., made a low-groove move on the final lap to grab a United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series victory at East Bay Raceway Park and earn $3,000. Jack Nosbisch Jr. of Riverview, Fla., started on the pole and led virtually the entired 50-lapper, but Peacock pulled event on the last lap and completed his winning pass exiting turn four. Johnny Collins of Jacksonville, Fla.,finished third in the feature on a series that has one race apiece remaining in October and November. The Oct. 4 event at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Ga., has been cancelled.
