Jeremy Faircloth takes NLMS win at Cochran
From series reports
COCHRAN, Ga. (Oct. 4) — Polesitter and fast qualifier Jeremy Faircloth of Swainsboro, Ga., dominated at Cochran Motor Speedway for a $3,000 R.L. Gregory Memorial victory on the National Late Model Series. The event was marred by the scary accident of Jason Lyles on the 21st lap. His car barrel-rolling car came to a stop on its roof and he was taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out. The event was the first since Cochran closed in August after a spectator was killed and four others injured when a tire and part of an axle flew from a race car and landed in a section of the pit area where there was no fence between the race cars and spectators. | Slideshow
