Chad Simpson races to Clash victory at Allison
ALLISON, Iowa (July 2) — Polesitter Chad Simpson of Mount Vernon, Iowa, won in convincing fashion for a Corn Belt Clash victory at Highway 3 Raceway. Simpson earned $2,000 for his 25-lap victory on the first-year tour that evolved from the Indee Open Series. | Slideshow
Jeff Aikey of Cedar Falls, Iowa, overtook Kevin Kile of Nichols, Iowa, in the final laps to get second. Curt Martin of Independence, Iowa, ran fourth Kurt Kile of West Liberty, Iowa, finished two spots behind his brother. Darrel DeFrance of Marshalltown, Iowa, battled with Martin much of the race but faded to finish seventh.
