On flip side, Osteen bags $5,000 Cherokee victory
GAFFNEY, S.C. (July 11) — Rebounding from a late-race flip the previous week, Owen Osteen of Woodruff, S.C., earned $5,000 for a Fastrak Racing Series victory at Cherokee Speedway.
Starting outside the third row, Osteen overtook polesitter Brandon "Cornbread" Haley on the 28th lap and never looked back in racing to the rich Crate Late Model victory at the 4/10-mile upstate oval.
