Turner outruns Cooley for Greenville victory
GREENVILLE, Miss. (Sept. 4) — Long-time series regular Matthew Turner of Dawsonville, Ga., won Friday at Greenville Speedway for his first career victory on the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series. Turner edged series points leader Eric Cooley of Fulton, Miss., by less than a second for the victory.
The Crate Late Model series continues its Labor Day weekend tripleheader in Mississippi on Saturday at Columbus Speedway and Sunday at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus.
