Arment grabs victory at Jamestown's Stampede
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Sept. 26) — Starting outside the front row, Kent Arment of Aberdeen, S.D., raced to victory in WISSOTA-sanctioned Late Model portion the 38th annual Stock Car Stampede at Jamestown Speedway. Arment earned $4,000.
Last year's Stampede winner Chad Becker of Aberdeen finished second with eighth-starting David McDonald of Huron, S.D., in third. Jeff Wildung after being part of an early caution to finish fourth while Jeremy Keller of Bismarck, N.D., rounded out the top five. Polesitter Shawn Malsam of Aberdeen was seventh in a race where 19 of 24 starters were running at the finish.
