Peacock wins NLMS event honoring grandfather
COCHRAN, Ga. (Oct. 3) — Hunter Peacock of Macon, Ga., overtook Jason Fitzgerald of Jacksonville, Ga., and raced to a National Late Model Series victory at Cochran Speedway.
Peacock, in his first outing in a Mike Nasworthy-owned car earned $3,000 for winning the R.L. Gregory Memorial, a race honoring his grandfather. Fitzgerald finished second followed by Steven Roberts, Brandon Cameron and Jason Lyles.
