Rain postpones Southern All Star, Clash events
Late-winter rains in the Southeast, and forecasts for more precipitation, have postponed a handful of Dirt Late Model special events originally scheduled for the March 12-13 weekend.
The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series has rescheduled its events in north Georgia and southeast Tennessee while the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series will push back its 10th annual Skyler Trull Memorial:
Southern All Stars @ Boyd's: The $4,000-to-win SAS event at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Ga., was postponed a week and rescheduled for March 19.
Southern All Stars @ Cleveland: The $10,000-to-win Shamrock at Cleveland (Tenn.) Speedway is rescheduled for March 20. The third-mile oval has scheduled a practice for Thursday, March 18.
Carolina Clash @ Carolina: Carolina Speedway near Gastonia, N.C., has pushed back its Skyler Trull Memorial weekend to March 19-20. Part of that event is a $4,000-to-win Carolina Clash race. NDRA-sanctioned Crate Late Models are also on the car.
