Redmon grabs first NLMS victory at Cochran
COCHRAN, Ga. (May 15) — Series rookie Skeeter Redmon of Marianna, Fla., earned his first series victory Saturday by capturing Cochran Motor Speedway's April Johnson Memorial. Redmon earned $3,000 on the Hedman Hedders National Late Model Series as he outran fellow rookie Hunter Peacock of Macon, Ga.
Dillon Wood of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., was third followed by Stevie Jones of Eastman, Ga., and William Thomas of Phenix City, Ala. Fast qualifier andpolesitter Jay Johnson of Moultrie, Ga., broke his car's rear end, knocking him out of the race.
