Thornton wins at Prescott Valley for second victory
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. (May 15) — Series rookie Ricky Thornton Jr. of Chandler, Ariz., captured his second Total Seal Southwest Dirt Racing Association victory Saturday at Prescott Valley Raceway. Thornton outran Brad Whitfield of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Cory Hemphill of Phoenix, Ariz., for the $1,000 victory.
Thorton also captured the 2010 series opener at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz.
