Breazeale captures PRO victory at Corinth
CORINTH, Miss. (May 22) — David Breazeale of Four Corners, Miss., earned $2,000 Saturday for a Promoters Racing Organization Dirt Car Series victory at Corinth Speedway. The third-starting Breazeale topped polesitter Anthony Burroughs of Muscle Shoals, Ala., in the 17-car event co-sanctioned by the NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series.
Chris Ragan of nearby Ramer, Tenn., was third followed by Rick Rickman of Columbus, Miss., and Joey Mack of Benton, Mo. Outside front-row starter Dane Dacus took the lead near the race's midway point, but he dropped out with an overheating car, finishing 15ht.
The previous night's scheduled event at North Alabama Speedway near Tuscumbia, Ala., was rained out.
