Barber outruns Godsey for ILMS victory at Brownstown
BROWNSTOWN, Ind. (May 22) — Mark Barber of North Vernon, Ind., led all but the first of 25 laps at Brownstown Speedway on Saturday for his first Indiana Late Model Series victory of the season. He earned $600.
Steve Godsey of Bedford, Ind., finished nearly a straightaway behind in second followed by Zak Blackwood of Columbus, Ind., who started on the pole and led the first lap. Scott Graham and Alan Magner rounded out the top five.
Caution flags appeared for Jason Shipp's lap-five spin, James Griffith's lap-seven spin and when Steve Davis spun in turn four at lap 15.
