Johnson earns $3,000 SRRS victory at Duck River
WHEEL, Tenn. (May 30) — Polesitter Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, Tenn., won Sunday at Duck River Speedway for his second Southern Regional Racing Series victory of the season. Johnson earned $3,000.
Former track champion David Gentry of Wheel, Tenn., finished second followed by fellow second-row starter Terry English of Benton, Ky. Dustin Neat of Dunnville, Ky., was fourth in a rare Duck River appearance while series regular Anthony Burroughs of Muscle Shoals, Ala., rounded out the top five after starting outside the front row.
Johnson's previous SRRS victory came April 17 at Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Ala.; he has three career series victories.
