Justin Fegers cruises for $5,000 at Challenge Cup
HURON, S.D. (June 5) — Outside front-row starter Justin Fegers of Mound, Minn., led all 40 laps Saturday at Dakota State Fair Speedway, cruising to a half-track victory in Challenge Cup X. The WISSOTA-sanctioned Dart Challenge Series opener paid $5,000 to Fegers, whose younger brother Marshall won the event two years ago. | Slideshow
Pat Doar of New Richmond, Wis., who started 10th, was the runner-up while Kent Arment of Aberdeen, S.D., was third in the caution-free, 40-lap feature at the 3/8-mile oval. John Kaanta of Elk Mound, Wis., and hometown driver Brian Diede rounded out the top five.
