Beard races to MSRA victory at Northeast Arkansas
HARRISBURG, Ark. (June 12) — Outside front-row starter Kyle Beard of Trumann, Ark., held off eighth-starting Bill Frye of Greenbrier, Ark., on Saturday for a Comp Cams Mid-South Racing Association victory at Northeast Arkansas Speedway. Beard earned $2,000 for his first series victory in more than a year and the sixth of his career, knotting him with Frye atop all the all-time series lead. | Slideshow
Dane Dacus of Lakeland, Tenn., the previous night’s MSRA winner in Malden, Mo., was third followed by 11th-starting Joey Mack of Benton, Mo. Jon Mitchell of Texarkana, Texas, rounded out the top five while polesitter Jeff Floyd of Walnut Ridge, Ark., was eighth.
