Ruhlman ends two-year drought at Hartford
HARTFORD, Mich. (June 26) — Brian Ruhlman of Clarklake, Mich., ended a two-year drought on the Sunoco American Late Model Series on Friday with a $2,000 victory at Hartford Motor Speedway. Ruhlman, a two-time series champion, started third and raced to his first victory since May 31, 2008, at Kamp Motor Speedway in Boswell, Ind. | Slideshow
Curtis Roberts of Coleman, Mich., finished second while consolation race winner J.R. Hotovy of Covert, Mich., rallied to finish third. Rusty Schlenk of Jackson, Mich., and Ryan Vanderveen of Six Lakes, Mich., rounded out the top five.
