Moore outruns Batesville boys for I-30 victory
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Aug. 7) — Ray Moore of Haughton, La., led all 40 laps Saturday at I-30 Speedway for his third career victory on the Comp Cams Mid-South Racing Association. Moore, making his second start with the Arkansas-based series this season, earned $2,000. | Slideshow
Batesville, Ark., drivers Billy Moyer Jr. (early) and Wendell Wallace (late) challenged Moore for the point, but he raced to his first MSRA victory since May 2008,
Wallace finished second followed by Moyer and Jon Mitchell of Texarkana, Texas. Bill Frye of Greenbrier, Ark., was fifth and, coupled with Kyle Beard's lap-19 departure, grabbed the MSRA points lead from Beard.
