Hensel rolls to Dart Challenge victory at Ogilvie
OGILVIE, Minn. (Aug. 29) — Polesitter Adam Hensel of Barron, Wis., raced to victory Sunday at Ogilvie Raceway for his first Dart Challenge Series victory of the season and third of his career on the WISSOTA-sanctioned tour. Hensel earned $2,000. | Slideshow
Series points leader John Kaanta of Elk Mound, Wis., came from his fifth starting spot to finish second ahead of fourth-starting Chad Mahder of Eau Claire, Wis., while Canadian Joel Cryderman of Thunder Bay Ontario, advanced five spots to finish fourth. Outside front-row starter Pat Doar of New Richmond, Wis., settled for fifth at the 3/8-mile oval.
Hensel earned his first tour victory since July 10, 2007, at Viking Speedway in Alexandria, Minn.
