Stovall drives Rushin's car to victory at USA
STERLINGTON, La. (Sept. 17) — Piloting a Steve Rushin-owned No. 14jr, outside front-row starter Jesse Stovall of Galena, Mo., raced to victory Friday at USA Speedway. Stovall, who has concentrated on modified racing most of the season, outran Bill Frye of Greenbrier, Ark., for his first series victory in more than two years.
Seventh-starting Kyle Beard of Trumann, Ark., was third in the 30-lapper followed by fellow Arkansas drivers Brandon Smith of Floral and Jon Kirby of Russellville. Polesitter Jeff Floyd of Walnut Ridge, Ark., was sixth.
