Baggett wins at Greenville for first MSCCS triumph
GREENVILLE, Miss. (April 16) — Neil Baggett of Shannon, Miss., became the third consecutive first-time series winner Saturday at Greenville Speedway with a $2,500 triumph on the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series. | Slideshow
The front-row starting Baggett raced to victory on the quarter-mile oval over Ray Moore of Haughton, La., while Dane Dacus of Arlington, Tenn., finished third. Dash winner David Breazeale of Four Corners, Miss., and Klint Byars of Carrollton, Miss., rounded out the top five.
In winning the third MSCCS event of the season, Baggett follows previous first-time winners Brooks Strength and Byars.
