Campbell takes inaugural Oklahoma Oil Bash
SOUTH COFFEYVILLE, Okla. (May 14) – Larry Campbell of Van Buren, Ark., scored his second career Race Brothers Show-Me Racing Series victory Saturday night in the inaugural Oklahoma Oil Bash at Mid-America Speedway. Campbell earned $1,500 for the victory.
Defending series champion Justin Wells of Aurora, Mo., finished second with Randy Zimmerman of Fort Scott, Kan., third. A pair of Galena, Mo., drivers rounded out the top five with Rick Lebow fourth and Jim Greenway fifth.
The series returns to action May 21 with a $1,000-to-win event at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, Okla. The event was postponed from April 23.
Wells, who won the series opener in April, leads Campbell in the series standings after two events.
