Overstreet gets first tour victory at Natural Bridge
NATURAL BRIDGE, Va. (June 4) — Polesitter J.R. Overstreet of Lynchburg, Va., led all 40 laps of the Dana Dove Memorial on Saturday at Natural Bridge Speedway for his first-ever victory on the D&D Auto Recycling Steel Block Bandits circuit. | Slideshow
Booper Bare of Rockbridge Baths, Va., Walker Arthur of Forest, Va. and Justin Williams of Shipman, Va. — holding spots two through four for the second night in a row on the series — chased Overstreet to the checkers while Greg Roberson of Waynesboro, Va., rounded out the top five.
Gerald Davis of Delray, W.Va., ran second for the first 15 laps before tangling with a lapped car, and and the fifth-starting Bare inherited the spot.
