Pegher outruns Blair of McKean County
EAST SMETHPORT, Pa. (June 30) — Mike Pegher Jr. drew the pole position Thursday at McKean County Raceway and fended off rival Max Blair for a victory in the Bully Dog Cross the Borders Speedweek event on the Fastrak Northeast tour for Crate Late Models. Pegher earned $1,200 for the 25-lap victory.
Blair edged ahead on an early restart, but a caution reset the field with Pegher out front and he held on the rest of the way. Blair was second to maintain his series and Speedweek points leads while Dan Angelicchio, Damian Bidwell and Joe Martin rounded out the top five.
