Whitener goes flag-to-flag at North Florida
LAKE CITY, Fla. (July 9) — Reigning series champion Mark Whitener of Middleburg, Fla., got the jump on fellow front-row starter Tyler Ivey of Tallahassee, Fla., on the first lap and led all 40 circuits Saturday for a United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series victory at North Florida Speedway. | Slideshow
Keith Nosbisch of Valrico, Fla., ended up second followed by Christian Augspurger of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The polesitting Ivey settled for fourth with hometown driver Clay Bedenbaugh in fifth in the UDLMCS tour ran its first event since April.
