The 42-year-old Boggs, making a rare 2011 start, earned $5,000 for his victory in the seventh annual Ironman Classic.
Dohm settled for second in the 17-car field while Eddie Carrier Jr. of Salt Rock, W.Va., was third as competitors enjoyed a smoother surface at the track that reopened this summer after lying dormant since 2003.
Hometown driver Rod Conley was fourth and Shannon Thornsberry of Martin, Ky., rounded out the top five finishers in a race slowed by six caution flags.
