Dickes tops Berck for victory at I-80 Speedway
GREENWOOD, Neb. (Aug. 14) — Polesitter Travis Dickes of Madison, Neb., held off 10th-starting Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., on Sunday at I-80 Speedway for a $1,000 victory on the Nebraska-based Super Late Model Racing Series.
Dickes notched his second series victory of the season, making him the only multiple winner on the tour besides Berck.
Justin Zeitner of LaVista, Neb., was third followed by Jason O'Brien of Atlantic, Iiowa, and Dylan Smith of Osceola, Neb. Bill Leighton Jr. of Omaha, Neb., who won the night's NASCAR-sanctioned feature for I-80's weekly division, was ninth.
