Redetzke nears Dart title with victory at Aberdeen
ABERDEEN, S.D. (Aug. 17) — Polesitter Jake Redetzke of Eau Claire, Wis., extended his Dart Challenge Series points lead Wednesday at Brown County Speedway, outrunning sixth-starting Adam Hensel of Barron, Wis.
Redetzke earned $2,000 for the victory in the Larry Gerlach Memorial at the Brown County Fair race and leads Hensel by 38 points heading into the Sept. 3 series finale at Hibbing (Minn.) Raceway. | Slideshow
Brian Diede of Huron, S.D., was third followed by hometown driver Kent Arment and Lance Matthees of Winona, Minn. Arment won the night's modified feature.
Redetzke's victory matched Hensel's series-leading total of three in 14 series races.
