Wallace, who started outside the front row on the racy quarter-mile oval, earned $2,000 for the victory while outrunning Kyle Beard of Trumann, Ark. Polesitter Brandon Smith of Floral, Ark., was third followed by 10th-starting Jon Kirby of Russellville, Ark., and B.J. Robinson of Blanchard, La.
Smith jumped into the lead on the first lap with Wallace, Beard, Dewaine Hottinger and Jon Mitchell in pursuit. Wallace shot past on the second lap for a lead he'd never give up, but Beard went to the high groove late in the race to challenge the leader. He fell three lengths short at the checkers.
