Ogle earns $5,000 at Dixie's Fall Classic
WOODSTOCK, Ga. (Nov. 4-5) — Polesitter Billy Ogle Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn., earned $5,000 at Dixie Speedway Fall Classic with a flag-to-flag victory in the season finale at the 3/8-mile oval.
Ogle dominated the race, lapping all but six competitors after just 17 laps and building a half-track advantage at the 30-lap mark. He took the checkers ahead of Chip Brindle of Chatsworth, Ga. | Slideshow
Ray Cook of Brasstown, N.C., finished third in the unsanctioned special event while track champion Michael Page of Douglasville, Ga., and Wayne Echols of Cumming, Ga. Outside front-row starter Jordy Nipper of Gray, Ga., ran second early in the race but fadded before heading to the pits on lap 31.

Casey Roberts of Toccoa, Ga., ran in the top five in the first half of the race but ended up eighth. ... Mike McConnell outran Kasey Hall and Don Jenkins for a $1,500 victory in the Limited Late Model division. ... Donald McIntosh topped Mark Page for a $1,000 Crate Late Model victory.
