Dustin Neat wins Crate debut in Big Bull 50

Ponderosa SpeedwayJUNCTION CITY, Ky. (April 20) — Making his first career Crate Late Model start, Dustin Neat of Dunnville, Ky., raced to a $1,500 victory Friday at Ponderosa Speedway in the Big Bull 50 with the Indiana Late Model Series. Neat drove a Kevin Colston-owned car to victory over his younger pole-starting brother Brad at the 3/8-mile oval. | Slideshow
Shannon Reed of Bloomington, Ind., was third while Kentuckians P.J. Feistritzer of Danville and Todd Coffman of Junction City rounded out the top five.
The Neat brothers started on the front row with Dustin going out front early ahead of Brad, Coffman and Reed. The Neats pulled away early while Tyler Allen worked his way into the top five after 12 laps.
After a pair of mid-race cautions, Dustin Neat was in control with Brad giving chase and Reed up to third while Feistritzer worked his way into the top five.
After the seventh and final caution on lap 43, the Neat brothers would again slip away from the field with Dustin finishing off the victory in the No. 38x Rocket Chassis sponsored by Colston Paving, Keith Adcock Insurance, Smith Race Engines and Renegade Race Fuels.
