Schlenk outruns Shiels at Mount Pleasant
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (May 25) — Rusty Schlenk of Weston, Ohio, returned to his native state Friday and won Mount Pleasant Speedway’s Woof Classic, a $2,000 victory co-sanctioned by the Sunoco American Late Model Series and first-year Michigan Dirt Cup. | Slideshow
Schlenk outran Devin Shiels of Britton, Mich., to the checkered flag while Bill Bray of Spring Lake, Mich., was third. Fellow Michigan drivers Zack Olger of St. John’s and Brandon Thirlby of Traverse City rounded out the top five finishers.
