Moore rules Battleground for first '12 victory
HIGHLANDS, Texas (June 2) — Former series champion Ray Moore of Shreveport, La., broke through for his first victory of the season in Saturday night’s Southern United Professional Racing event, earning $2,500 at Battleground Speedway. | Slideshow
Reigning series champ Morgan Bagley of Longview, Texas, finished second with Robbie Starnes of Houston, Texas, third. Ronny Adams of Greenwood, La., and Rob Litton of Alexandria, La., rounded out the top five finishers.
Kevin Sitton of Baytown, Texas, finished sixth, one night after ending a two-year winless drought on the tour Friday night at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas.
