Stuart wins SUPR's weekend opener at I-30
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 15) — Robbie Stuart of DeRidder, La., won Friday at I-30 Speedway, giving him his second series victory of 2012 and first multiple-victory season in his Southern United Professional Racing tour career.
Stuart, whose first victory this year came at Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas, earned $1,250 for his sixth career victory on the Louisiana-based SUPR circuit.
Jon Mitchell of Texarkana, Ark., finished second in the first of two series races at the quarter-mile oval. SUPR points leader Allen Tippen finished third followed by Ray Moore of Haughton, La., and Rob Litton of Alexandria, La. Saturday's feature pays $2,500-to-win at I-30.
