Mullins claims first SUPR victory at I-30
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 16) — Bud Mullins of West Monroe, La., raced to his first Southern United Professional Racing victory Saturday night, earning $2,500 in the second leg of the tour’s weekend doubleheader at I-30 Speedway. | Slideshow
Kevin Sitton of Baytown, Texas, charged forward from his 18th starting spot to finish second with Rick Duke Jr. third. Ronny Adams of Greenwood, La., was fourth with Robert Baker of Bryant, Ark., fifth.
Robbie Stuart, the DeRidder, La., driver who won Friday’s race at the quarter-mile oval, finished 11th in Saturday’s feature.
The SUPR tour’s next event is a $2,500-to-win race June 30 at Boothill Speedway in Shreveport, La.
