Seng stays hot on NLRA with victory in Ada
ADA, Minn. (June 27) — Polesitter Brad Seng of Grand Forks, N.D., dominated Wednesday at Norman County Speedway, leading all 25 laps for a Northern LateModel Racing Association victory worth $1,100. The victory was his second in a row, second of the season and 17th of his NLRA career.
Reigning series champ Ricky Weiss of Winnipeg, Manitoba, rallied from ninth to second after a late-race restart while Zach Johnson of Kensington, Minn., was third. Mike Balcaen of Winnipeg and Dev Malmlov of Moorhead, Minn. — a modified ace making his first career Late Model start — rounded out the top five.
Two cautions slowed the action, on lap 23 and then on the lap-23 restart, and 20 of 21 starters were running at the finish.
