Berck tops SLMRS field at U.S. 30 Speedway
COLUMBUS, Neb. (July 5) — Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., led all but the first three laps of Thursday’s U.S. 30 Speedway feature on the Nebraska-based Super Late Model Racing Series for a $1,000 payday and his tour-leading 32nd career victory.
Reigning series champion Travis Dickes of Madison, Neb., finished second in the 25-lapper with Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb., in third. Bill Leighton Jr. of Omaha, Neb., and Corey Zeitner of Bellevue, Neb., rounded out the top five finishers. Four cautions slowed the action, the last just before the midway point.
