Hometown driver rules Casper's CLMA event
CASPER, Wyo. (July 27) — Hometown driver Jason Schierkolk raced to his first Championship Late Model Association Presented by Indy Screen Print victory of the season Friday night at Casper Speedway, earning $1,200 in the first race of a Wyoming doubleheader for the Colorado-based tour. | Slideshow
Schierkolk earned the third CLMA victory of his career in winning the tour’s event at Casper Speedway for the second straight year. He was followed at the finish line by fellow hometown driver Mitch Rodgers and Marty Erivez of Gillette, Wyo. Paul Corbaley of Colorado Springs, Colo., was fourth with Dylan Schmer of Lingle, Wyo., rounding out the top five.
