Rain halts race, but Baker wins at Lancaster
LANCASTER, S.C. (July 28) — Hometown driver Brandy Baker captured Saturday’s NDRA Road Show by Heintz Performance feature at Lancaster Motor Speedway in a rain-shortened 33-lapper. He earned $2,000.

Baker broke into the early lead with Dennis “Rambo” Franklin and Ross Bailes, driving the John Page-owned MasterSbilt, dropping Banal to fourth. The lead trio battled were battling tightly when Mother Nature showed up for a third time, ending the night’s action.
Baker was followed in the running order by Franklin, Bailes, Banal and Jeff Smith.
