Hill tops McDowell for third victory at Wythe
RURAL RETREAT, Va. (Aug. 4) — Earning his third victory in four starts at Wythe Raceway this season, second-starting Vic Hill of Mosheim, Tenn., outdueled fellow front-row starter Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, Ga., to earn a $4,000 payday in Saturday’s Ultimate Super Late Model Series event at the high-banked half-mile oval.
McDowell settled for the runner-up finish ahead of Brett Miller of Greenville, Tenn., and Zack Mitchell of Henry, S.C. Ray Cook of Brasstown, N.C., was fifth.
