Berck grabs SLMRS victory at Shelby County
HARLAN, Iowa (Sept. 1) — Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., came from his fifth starting spot Saturday at Shelby County Speedway for his tour-leading seventh victory of the season on the Nebraska-based Super Late Model Series.
Berck took the checkers ahead of eighth-row starter Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb., in the Labor Day weekend event. Justin Zeitner of LaVista, Neb., was third followed by Jay Stewart of Blair, Neb., and Al Humphrey of Giltner, Neb. Jeff Segebart of Vail, Iowa, was the top home-state finisher in seventh.
The series was making its second-ever visit to Harlan. Berck won the first series visit on July 10, 2010.
