• Drivers draw (upon registration) two numbers, one for the first-round of time trials, one for the second round.

• Fast qualifier spins inversion wheel to set a three-, four-, five- or six-car inversion for six 20-car staggered heat races
• Top 84 drivers locked in for Saturday heat races; remaining entrants line up for three qualifying races in staggered order with top 12 drivers from each qualifying race transferring to Saturday’s heats (cars not advancing can stand by as heat race alternates)
Saturday, Sept. 8
• Six 15-lap, 20-car heat races; top three finishers transfer to World 100; finishers 4-11 transfer to one of two consolation races.
• Two fastest qualifiers failing to transfer through heat races accept provisional starting spots in 10th row of feature event.
• Two 20-lap, 24-car consolation races; top five finishers transfer to World 100.
• Two consolation scrambles for finishers sixth on back pay $1,000-to-win; no drivers transfer.
