CHATSWORTH, Ga. (Nov. 10) — Ethan Hunter of Tiger, Ga., earned a $3,000 Limited Late Model victory Saturday at North Georgia Speedway’s unsanctioned Turkey Rumble.
Hunter took the checkers over Brian Smith of Cleveland, Tenn., while Jordy Nipper of Gray, Ga., finished third. Heath Hindman of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Bobby Mayse of Harrison, Tenn. | Slideshow
Chris Wilson of Crossville, Tenn., won the evening’s Crate Late Model feature, pocketing $1,500.

The event drew 97 race cars overall including 31 Limited Late Models and 31 Crate Late Models. ... The top 12 qualifiers were locked into the feature event with six drivers apiece from a pair of consolation races also transferring. ... Levi Hicks was disqualified from the Limited Late Model feature because his car was light at the infield scales. ... The event wraps up the season at North Georgia; the track plans to have 2013 rulebooks available by mid-December.
