Beard grabs Fastrak victory at Gordon Park

From series reportsGROVETOWN, Ga. (April 6) — Frankie Beard of Hartwell, Ga., captured the Fastrak Racing Series tour event Saturday at Gordon Park Speedway. Beard earned $2,000 in outrunning Gib Gibbons and Ron Parker. Gibbons led the first half of the race, but Beard took control on a lap-17 restart to take control and race to his first Fastrak touring victory.
