Sitton scores SUPR victory at Battleground

P&W Sales Southern United Professional RacingHIGHLANDS, Texas (April 20) — Home-state Kevin Sitton of Baytown survived a scrape with a lapped car Saturday at Battleground Speedway for his first P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racing victory of the season.
The pole-starting Sitton earned $2,500 in winning his 10th career SUPR victory as he took the checkers ahead of Robbie Stuart of DeRidder, La. | Slideshow
Reigning SUPR champion Rob Litton of Alexandria, La., was third followed by Shane Hebert of Lafayette, La., and eighth-starting Robbie Starnes of Baytown.
The race was SUPR’s first since three straight events fell victim to Mother Nature.
