Ross Camponovo of Clarksdale, Miss., finished second, duplicating his series performance the previous night at Timberline Speedway in Corley, Texas. Pole-starting Tommy Surrett of North Little Rock, Ark., was third followed by Ray Moore of Haughton, La., and Billy Moyer Jr. of Batesville, Ark. Hall of Famer Billy Moyer of Batesville, the fifth-place finisher’s father, came from his 13th starting spot to finish sixth.
Surrett led Camponovo, Wallace, Ronny Adams and Jon Mitchell at the outset before the race's only caution flew on lap eight for Timothy Culp of West Monroe, La., who spun in the middle of turns one and two.
Surrett led the field to green, but Camponovo shot into the lead near the midway point before Wallace worked his way past on the 31st of 35 laps. Wallace notched his 16th career Comp Cams victory but first since last season’s finale at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark.
