Pospisil gets first victory on Nebraska tour
COLUMBUS, Neb. (July 4) — Fifth-starting Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb., broke through Thursday for his first victory on the Nebraska-based Super Late Model Racing Series, earning $1,000 for his victory at U.S. 30 Speedway while taking the series points lead.
Pospisil took the checkers ahead of polesitter Justin Gregg of Hasting, Neb., while Ben Schaller of Omaha, Neb., was third. Jim Johnson of Plainview, Neb., and 13th-starting Bill Koons of Omaha rounded out the top five. Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., who entered the event leading SLMRS points, started 23rd and finished 14th.
