Stuart edges Hebert in SUPR action at I-30

P&W Sales SUPR SeriesLITTLE ROCK, Ark (July 20) — Robbie Stuart of DeRidder, La., won a thriller Saturday at I-30 Speedway, earning $2,500 for his seventh career victory on the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racing tour.
The pole-starting Stuart edged ninth-starting Shane Hebert of Lafayette, La., by half a car-length at the Hammer Hill quarter-mile for his first SUPR victory since June 15, 2012, at the same track. | Slideshow
Hebert, gunning for his fourth series victory of the season, settled for second with Zach McMillan of Gladewater, Texas, in third. Jon Mitchell of Texarkana, Texas, and Brett Frazier of Haughton, La., rounded out the top five.
Friday’s SUPR event at I-30 Speedway was rained out. The series heads to Texas on July 26-27 for events at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont and Battleground Speedway in Highlands.
